Civil Ceremonies and Eloping in Baltimore
There is an alternative to a civil ceremony at the court house. Weddings by a justice of the peace, or, in Maryland, the clerk of the court, are an option for people who would like a quick and inexpensive wedding.
Many couples find that they would like the convienence of a civil ceremony or court house wedding, but would like to have a more intimate feel to this special event.
My office in Baltimore County can be just the answer. It has a warm, homey feel, and it can accomodate the wedding couple and up to 5 guest for a short ceremony. The wording I use for these ceremonies is heartfelt and meaningful, allowing you and your guests to have a rich experience of your wedding day.
This ceremony may be performed in English or in Spanish.
Please see the services and fees page for more information on packages, including the option for a civil ceremony or elopment in Baltimore.
Please note: This option requires a valid marriage license from Baltimore County. You must get your license at least two days before your wedding, as Maryland has a two day waiting period between when a license is issued and a marriage can be performed.
